How I cured this problem.
I retrieved an old oil / diesel filter cut off both ends leaving a tube/cylinder,marked 30mm in from one end & cut so your left with a 30mm ring by approx 90mm.cut ring across the 30mm now use a file to remove rough edges, now fit the cut band
into recess in the back of your alloy wheel over lapping it to fit snugly, now mark with a marker the excess to cut off so that when you have done this it then fits with no overlap.
do not worry if there is a small gap.also do not bother about removing the the paint from the outside of filter. the filters
seem to be of the correct thickness and cure this problem.
have been fitted on my van for a week now and not even the slightest of vibration.
the whole operation took me 2hours in total and a cost of NOTHING.
HAPPY VIBES.
