What would the RAC rating of 12 HP for the RME 1 1/2 litre engine equate to in today's horse power rating?

I am thinking of putting an old 1 1/2 RME Riley on the road to use, however I'm a little concerned about the performance and I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has lived with one and driven it regularly/recently.
