What were the names of the daughter/s of the 1st Marquess of Londonderry?
We have a Robert Thompson born 24 May 1819 Mountrath, Queen’s County. His parents names are unknown. He was educated at the Quaker school in Dublin and entered the Army at the age of 18 in 1837 serving in the 13th Foot / 13th Regiment of Light Infantry (Prince Albert’s Own) 1837-1859. He married Annabella Scott born 29 Nov 1829 Ballynahinch, County Down.
From research done by a family member about 80-100 years ago we have found that his grandfather Thompson (first name unknown) married Lady Mount Stewart. Regrettably no Christian names or dates were recorded in the information. As Robert was born in 1819 we estimate that his Stewart grandmother was born between 1760 and 1780. Any help in finding the name of this Lady Mount Stewart would be greatly appreciated.
