What was the circulation of LIFE FOR THE YEAR 1952 AND 1953?

DONNELLY BOUGHT NEW PRINTING EQUIPMENT AFTER WORLD WAR II. WAS THERE A CHANGE IN COLOR PRINTING BY THE TIME THE ISSUE OF QUUEEN ELIZ. CORONATION CAME OUT, WHICH WAS DONE IN 3 INSTEAD OF MANY WEEKS?

Was there a connection between LIFE'S PRINTING 24 COLOR PAGES IN SEPT. OF SAME YEAR of Ernst Haas' "Images of a Magic City -New York and new color printing equipment?

Life bought this 35 mm story in Dec. 1952. Did that affect the purchase of new color printing equipment? or wa it accidental, or was LIFE planning anyway to expand its color?

Thanks. - I am working on a book about Ernst Haas, who had several 12 and 24 page color stories in LIFEW BETWEEN 1953 AND 1958..
