What variety of corn is used in Fritos corn chips?

My daughter has developed a very severe allergy to corn products, but it seems to be somehow related to the type of corn. We are trying to pinpoint what varieties are causing the problem. Corn and corn meal are in many products that are not easily recognized as containing corn and any information will be appreciated.
