After lots of research, i personally think that the scientific explanation to it, is that it is found in the Atlantic ocean.The Mid-Atlantic ridge in the ocean is a very active place where there are lots of pressure, magma eruptions and hydrothermal vents which causes the water to heat up to such a high temperature that it becomes less dense than the air above the ocean. Due to the change in density, the air and everything above the sea sinks down to the bottom of the sea without leaving anything behind.

Well thats what i think it is but there are other people who might agree or disagree.
