String theory is also an attempt to unify Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. These are now very different, relativity describing the world on galactic scale and quantum mechanics on atomic scale. unifying the two would give us increased knowledge of the Universe.

String theory is a current candidate for the theory of everything, which is a way to describe natural forces and matter in a mathematical equation.

Could String theory mean that other realities do exist.??

I'm not sure what you mean by this question. If by other realities you mean parallel universes that mirror our own except for minor variations, I don't think String Theory is meant to answer that. String Theory endeavors to answer questions about our own universe: how it's made and how it works. There are multiple dimensions associated with String Theory, but these are not to be taken in the entertainment sense of the word dimension. Whether we talk about 4-dimensional space time or 10-dimensional space time we're still just talking about the universe we live in. The extra dimensions may simply be too small for us to even measure, or maybe too large. A fly floating in the middle of a blimp might suppose that the blimp's space is infinite, but a person standing on the ground looking up can clearly see it's borders.
My opinion is that the only reality that exists is reality.
