Why do you automatically think illegals are working in lettuce fields? I hope your not another small minded racist liberial! Some of your "illegals" could be constructing a nuclear device right now in your home town. Maybe your leader will notice when it goes off.

Even if they were, I am far more concerned with those illegals who ARE working in lettuce fields...which is an allegorical image describing the kind of back breaking labor these people are generally forced to except...

these people in the lettuce fields are being used as slave labor. If we would only toughen up our borders (which is being done and successfully) reform immigration law and conduct MASSIVE deportations as well as prosecute those who hire illegals (Invoking heavy fines, possibly jail time or at least community service) we might be able to stop this practice and give actual freedom to those people who want it.

Such images are being encouraged in an effort to distract people and make them afraid and angry. Angry, fearful people are much more likely to use violence. If they can get you to use violence, they can use their police and weaponry to destroy you...or us. This country has enacted laws that provide for martial law in the next case of terrorism...they are already telling the world the teaparty is full of terrorists and terror minded rhetoric. Don't give them more ammo.

I realize that sarcasm doesn't come across well in the written medium however I didn't intend the words I used to describe Barak as anything other than DEEPLY sarcastic. I have plenty of posts on this forum that clearly state my position in regards to politics and personal beliefs.

It is insulting to be referred to as a racist. I realize you intend no harm but, if they call you a racist and it bothers you, do not remedy the situation by calling THEM racists. Do you understand the concepts of 'love thy enemy' and 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'?
If we, and I mean the conservative part of this country, cannot practice God's Law, then how do we expect they, meaning the left, will ever come to understand the truth we are talking about?
