If you read any of his books, you would find Icke does not endorse any religion or subscribe to any dogmatic belief system. He is not however, as is furiously claimed by some of his detractors, anti-semtic, or anti-God, or as one of my good friends thinks , "poo-pooing the great spiritual masters".
In general, the theme outlined in his books concerns how human beings are "Infinite Consciousness" and "All Possibility", and that we become entrapped and thus disempowered by accepting the belief that there is a God above and apart from us and the only way to communicate with HE/SHE is through middle-men/women who are kind enough to serve as enforcers.
from Ickes' "Infinite Love is the Only Truth", chapter 6 (The God Program)
"One of the major expressions of the Matrix program in this reality is what we call Religion, and that's not only Christianity, Judaism, Islam and the others we associate with the term. I also mean the religions we call money, politics, the pursuit of 'success', television, the cult of celebrity, and what has been dubbed 'New Age'. Anything in fact that dictates your sense of reality and entraps you in the illusion".
His research into the history of world religion is also very eye opening. I would highly recommend, if your mind is open enough, to seriously read any of his books.
