What if any effect does water temp have on a common water aspirator vacum pump for chemistry use.I live in a geothermally actve area and the well temp is in excess of 130
f.And tap water even in winter is often in excess of 115f

The strength of the vacuum you can achieve is limited by the vapor pressure of water at the operating temperature.

To a first approximation, the maximum vacuum you can achieve with a water aspirator running at 50 F is ~9 Torr while at 130F you only get a vacuum of 115 Torr [N.B. 760 Torr is atmospheric pressure, i.e. no vacuum; 0 Torr is a perfect vacuum]. Actual results might vary slightly, but the net effect is that you won't get as strong a vacuum using hot tap water. If your using the aspirator to vacuum boil water in a flask, you would need to heat the flask such that it is warmer than the well water passing through the aspirator.
