What existed before the big bang. In other words, I have trouble imagining existence without 3 dimensions of physical space and I would like someone to try to help me to understand the state of matter, antimatter, non-matter, energy, non-time, non-space, whatever there was prior to the universe as we know it, if it is known or if there is a theory on where or when it was the big bang occurred. Forgive me if this question is unanswerable due to some fundamental concept I'm missing.
