What do you think of Mr. Griffin as a person VS. Mr. Griffin as a teacher?

I think that Brian Griffin (as a person) is very sweet and loving. I quite like him. BUT as a teacher, I think that he is just a bit to hard on his students. I understand his reasoning, but I think he over does it, if he was a little bit nicer to his students then the whole thindg wouldn't have happened.

I think that as a teacher, he wanted his students to be over achievers when he knew that most of the students couldn't or wouldn't do the best they are capable of, and as a person, he was nicer (even if only a little) than what some of his students thought. he loved his wife and he definetly cared for her. and he also cared for his students education. he even told susan to run when he knew he was in danger. him as a person is definetly better than him as a teacher.

I have a theory about why he is the way he is as a teacher. I think that maybe as a student, he did poorly and did not care what grades he made or what kind of performance he made. And, now, he realizes how important all of that was and how it impacted his life, so he is trying to help his students do better than he did. He wants for his students what it is too late for him to gain or achieve.

Ohhh. As a person, I think he is a very loving and caring man. He and his wife may seen like complete polar opposites, but they have one thing in common: they are loving, caring, and usually (and sometimes secretly) understanding. They both want nothing more in life, I think, than the well-being of others.

That's sweet...but what about the (almost) fact about him (Mr.Griffin) being David's father?? What kind of man (that 'loving, caring, etc') could do something like that?
