Hillel said, when challenged to summarise the entire Torah, "Do not do to others that which you do not like yourself. The rest is commentary, now go and learn."

The world stands on three things: Torah, Good Deeds, Loving Kindness.

The most important Mitzvah is, of course, the preservation of Life.
