I guess you don't realize how good something is and how lucky you are until its inevitable ending. The old Stuyvesant H.S. used to house the Stuyvesant Adult Center that offered a big variety of evening classes ranging from languages, to theatre, jewelry making, to yoga, to learning how to fix your car, investments and taxes etc. at a very reasonable charge.

I tried to track it down and found that the old telephone telephone number is now some gentleman's private home phone.

The program must have lost funding and ended after so many wonderful years. Never realized how much of a treasure it was until I realized it is gone.
