We are having problems with our female dutch the last couple of weeks. all of a sudden she has changed from a cuddly and affectionate bunny to one that wants to bite and tear up the carpet all over the room she has been in since we purchased her about a year and a half ago from a breeder. she has been potty trained to run out of her cage several times a day in a special corner with newspaper to do her business. now she wants to rip and tear up the paper before or after she pees to shreds and then proceeds to run around the room biting and pulling up carpet. sometimes she even lunges at me with her two front paws when i try to make her stop. when i try to cuddle her she tends to start biting at my clothes, a complete opposite of the way she would normally act. her diet is the same, hay and pellets, as it has been forever. she has never been spayed.can anybody help?
