Partially correct. Christ, as stated in the Gospels first came for the Jews and the Jews only.
"The builders have rejected the cornerstone" (the Jewish nation rejecting Christ at that time)
The other examples you can find is when Christ states "Amen I say to you, a prophet is not
accepted in his own village". You see Christ and the apostles reaching to all when the centurion approaches Christ and asks him "Lord heal my servant". The response Christ gives
to this non Jew is stunning, he is ready to leave for the centurion's home when the centurion
states as the Gospels show, "No my Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter my home, but say the world and my servant shall be healed". Christ states then to the Apostles: "Amen I say to you that in all of Isreal there no such faith. Go your servant is healed". I think this is the seed being planted to form the Apostolic church that we now have - Open to all.

You have a good point .I just want to add that most people say the Jews rejected Him, Not all. Remember John was at the cross.Also after the ressurection the Apostles who were all Jewish started the Church.And your comment on Faith yes this Gentile had great Faith but remember was Yeshua said to about a Jew in John 1:46,47,48 and 49. Yes by and large the Faith or maybe a better word would be Belief of the Jewish Apostles came after Yeshua appeared to them.
