Do not get me wrong I am a proud American and even in our modern day America I think Washington was the greatest American Patriot ever.
My question does not have anything to do with that but how did he cross, were men breaking the ice, was the tide slamming ice into the boat, was the boat able to take such a pounding or was the painting done only to create our hero and boost morale. There is a woman in the boat, why? How did such a small boat carry the driving force to the win at Trenton. Many questions 200 years later could it all be true, why is modern history excluding many of the answers.
