Sweden was officially neutral for both wars despite being crippled by blockades during the second.

Sweden wasn't a combatant, but was up to its ears in involvement. Sweden sold high-grade iron ore to the nazis who used it in wiping out a good part of europe. Sweden also violated its neutrality by letting nazi troop trains cross its territory to invade Norway. Having made out very well during the war and not been damaged, Sweden was in a position to cash in big time after the war, selling stuff to other european countries.
