WHY WON'T MY DT466 START? I am working on a 2003 international 4400 with the dt466. It was just leaking a little oil out the bottom of the high pressure injection pump due to a bad o-ring(and some stripped threads).I pulled the high pressure injection pump to do some thread repair and when I re-installed the pump the truck wouldn't start. It ran fine before I pulled the pump. I bleed the system and changed the fuel filter. I give it a shot of starting fluid and it will run. I thought there might still be air in the system so I cranked it over and laid into the throttle. Nothing. If I let it sit for a couple minutes it will fire for a couple seconds then die and just crank untill I let it sit for a few minutes again. I checked the fuel pressure and oil pressure. Fine. I checked the oil pressure sensor. Fine. Any help would be appreciated.
