Been trying to find out more about mine as well. ive been told it is probably made in 1917 but the ones ive seen made in that year have that exactly stamped on them 1917. But mine like yours only has a 17 on it where the year is normally stamped on Italian Carcano rifles. I too would like to know more about this rifle. It has many different stamps marked on it.
