Think about it Jesus Christ is not a Jewish name or title.How many times have you met Mr.and Mrs Christ ..friends of the Cohens, and thier children Abraham ,Isacc and Jesus? I am sure there where 100’s of “messiahs” wondering around Palestine at the time ,just not Jesus Christ.I am also sure there are “messianic Jews” at this time,especially in the Eastern empire concentrated around Egypt and Palestine.
