Three questions:

1. Where did the now-missing section of the rail line between 60th and 54th Streets actually run?

2. Where was the wye at 54th and Nicollet? (The only corners that don't appear to have 1920s or 1930s-era buildings are the northwest and southeast corners.)

3. When did passenger service along that line cease? One account says 1941; another says 1942; a third says "in the early 1940s."

The two logical routes (down Nicollet or Pleasant Avenues) appear to have pre-WWII housing built over or around them--which would be impossible if passenger service to 54th & Nicollet continued until the start of WWII.

I'd greatly appreciate any answers I can find.
