Thomas Holland Sculpture "THE ATTACK"

I saw a sculpture at an art show in Nashville and was told it was called "attack". I was told that the artist, Thomas Holland was commissioned by the state of California in the 1960s for some large western art displays in Sacramento. The sculpture I saw was of an Indian with a lance in his hand riding a horse. The price was $4,500. I was struck by the quality of the work.

Does anyone have more info about this artist and this piece specifically?

Thanks...

YES I know all about the piece, its called pony express, and Sacramento CA. commissened him to make a 1 and a half life of the pony express, because thats where it started ,he sold i think about 400 of the pony express to raise maoney for the life size staute that sits in Sacramento, i own what is called AP 1 ,artist proof 1,but my pony express sites 42 inch high and 55 inches long, the artist use the AP1 to look at and make the life size one, i bought the pieace back in the late 70s,in Palm Springs CA. it is the only one he made, and broke the mold after that, his grand son was used as the rider, and Holland passed away in 2004 in a place called ajijic mexico, where i now reside, hoped it helped you.
