This is not a question, but rather, a statement. I've been studying David Cusick's Iroquois history for several years now and, at first, couldn't correlate his "years before Columbus with any sense of logic. However, I had occasion to examine the cultural profile of another First Nation with many references to 'annual seasons' and discovered that I should attempt to calculate Cusick's "years before Columbus" a total of summer and winter seasons and thereby divide the number of years in half. I did this and then set about to examine the document for any references to archeological evidence and did a comparison with available archeological data relative to those time periods; and it worked. Well; that's part of the process anyway but to explain the rest would require more time than I have available right now.
