This "article" on red abalone contains allegations that I believe are spurious and either need to be substantiated or removed - particularly the statement about DFG personnel raising imported abalone 'privately' and without regard to potential parasites. To the best of my knowledge, no such thing ever happened, and if the author thinks it did, let him/her name names.
In addition, other parts are confusing and badly written. I suggest removal until the problems are repaired. Irresponsibly written articles only undermine the credibility of the website carrying them.
