The only way to travel back in time would be to exceed the speed of light. If we were to travel toward a star at speeds faster than light, we would theoretically reach that star before the light ever began its journey to earth. So if it took a million light years to reach earth and we traveled to that star and reached uit in less time than it took to get here, would that constitute time travel?
