Greetings: I am a Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, CA.and took my MA in Theology at USF in the 1970s, Fr, James came to USF and taught "Prayer in the Christian Tradition and after three years returned to teach a class in Spiritual Direction which I sat in on. When father finished his first lecture in the Development of Prayer class, he delivered it as if in contemplation. Never did he have more than a scrap of notes for the 90 minute class. He delivered each class as if in contemplation. I though they were so good I asked him permission to tape record them. He agreed. During his 3 years absence I startred transcribing the 28 lectures. Then began the task of typing them out. The work is done James knew it. In a personal letter to me he let me know i could do whatever wanted with it. he ended the class with a simple yet humble-thank you, that's all I have to give. I don't know what to do with this behest. I'd like to return it to the Jesuits. Help please. S. Jean
