Most of God's children have a hard time believing that God would choose to save some of mankind to eternal heaven and let the rest of mankinds lusts lead them to eternal torment. God did not condem them to hell, their works did. In Eph 1 God said he choose a people in a covenant relationship before formed the world. In John 6:37-40, Jesus said that God gave him those that he choose to die for the remission of their sins and he would not lose a one of them but raise them up at the last day. In 1 Pet 1:1, Peter is writing to the elect of God. Rom 9:10-13, God choose Jacob over Esau to show that his election might stand not of a man's works but of him that calleth. Rom 11:5-7, There is a remnant according to the election of grace, and if by grace, then there is no more works, otherwise grace is no more grace, but if it be of works, then is it no more grace, otherwise works is no more works. Isreal hath not obtained that which he seeketh, but the election hath obtained it. Rom 9:21, Hath not the potter power over the clas, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
