In the book "Married to Islam" many interesting assertions are made.
Some of these are:
--Mohammed (s) was actually pro-women by the standards of his time, and would be abhorred by the treatment of women in most of the Moslem world today.
--Islam as taught today in the madrasa and in most Arab countries combines the Koran, the first level of Ahadith, and the second and third levels of Ahadith, calling them all "Islam." This mis-teaching effectively prevents whole generations of Islamic youth from knowing the true teachings of Allah.
What do you know about these issues? Is the book correct, or...?

That book must be interesting....
Yes, it is right that Muhammad (s) was someone who asked men to behave well towards women. In his last speech he even pointed out to watch the rights of women.
As far as I know many Ahadith are mixed up with tradition and are in contrary to what is written in the Koran, specially regarding women and their rights.
Who wrote the book Married to Islam? Can you give more information please?
