I would like to share my experience with Alliance Francaise in Paris.
I am Chinese and went to France to learn french as i love french culture. I decided to take some class at the Alliance francaise. Course there are quite expensive for my budget (234 euros per week).
I thought i was making a good choice to chose a french institute. Actually my global feeling is that it is expensive for the quality of the course. Over 4 weeks, i was obliged to change teacher 3 times. People in the class have different levels so i wonder what is the reason of having a pre assessment of my french level if i end up learning french with guys who have advanced level. The material for the course are quite good but you still can buy them on the side and learn at another school, less expensive or take a student in Paris who would teach you french for a cheaper price.
On top of that the pricing is quite tricky as they change it. So you can end up paying more !!! and you can't say anything as they always say that you are wrong.
You can make your own choice but be aware that you have alternative at your disposal.
