I don't think so. If you have 1 Kg of rice for 2 people you can use them with proper distribution, but when you have 200 mouths to be fed with the same amount of rice, what can you do? When I was 10- 12 years old in early 50s of last century, I didn't see so much of corruption, unemployment, crisis of food, water, shelter, sewerage problem and so on. Do you know that by next 15 years there will be acute crisis of sweet water, serious food crisis? The best and most efficient user can do NOTHING, Absolutely nothing with this rate of growth of human being.Go for 1 child or no child per family NOW.

The problem is overpopulation, all one has to do is look at what is happening in Haiti, and not for behind Haiti, the rest of the Caribbean!
The history of these Islands, was and still is controlled by religious zealots.
At first it was the Catholic Church looking for gold, exploiting the native Indians, until at last all of them were gone. To fill the void for slaves they then turned to Africa, taking slaves, against their will to the Islands of the Caribbean.
Although Haiti is still 80% Roman Catholic, Protestant religions are taking a foothold.
None of these religions have helped the people of these Islands ... in fact, they have added to their misery!
