I was talking to someone who is researching euthanasia for a thesis. They stated that they had " been told " that when patients entered a clininc to have their life terminated they were treated very poorly ie. had all their personal possessions taken from them which were put in another room, together with other patients' possessions, and were not even allowed family photographs in their room. The person who 'allegedly' said this stated that they had worked in a clinic (the name was not given) which reminded her of a Nazi regime! I find this 'information' astonishing and obviously have great doubts about what this person is stating. I can think of several reasons why such statements might be made without them having any truth but I was concerned, if untrue, that such information was given to a young student researching a thesis. Can anyone enlighten me further about this?
