My father Edward William Taylor born 1910 Rowhedge Essex moved to Bursledon in the 1920's and then worked at Vickers Armstrong/Supermarine on Spitfires and others. He was a technical draughtsman and a "Chargehand" and met my mother here during WW2 after the bombing of the factory in 1940.

Is there any record of Edward's employment and Beatrice Louisa Margaret (Peggy) Bunce's (my mother) employment in Vickers / Supermarine? His last project was on Hovercraft in the late 60s.

Any possible information about Edward or Peggy or photos of the factory in the 1940's would be gratefully received

I was born just outside Woolston in Sholing.
