Sundance Film Festival

It is a well known fact now that the "Cat is out of the Bag" that Sundance does not watch, or care about real independent films. The funny thing is , why does this surprise anyone? Everything in the world to do with money is corrupt, why should Sundance and it's good ole boy act be any better? I mean films like Red State by Kevin fat boy Smith? If this represents the best in Independent film then what does THAT say?
