A Splash Tile Mural refers to the decorative center piece or picture tile that is installed within the splash tile\* on the wall behind a kitchen sink or stove.

The size it should be can be determined by measuring 4" in from each side. Measure from the top edge of the stove for the bottom measurement. Measure from the lowest edge of the hood if you wish it to look centered from a distance. otherwise, measure from where the hoot meets the tile at the top. A square space will look best with a square design or mural. A rectangle with a rectangle. The measurements above will give you the shape it should be. The mural or design should be no less than half the size of the total visible space. 75% Is ideal.
