Sorry to ask what to many readers may be very obvious questions:-
I am importing some old family images, some from scanned prints and some from slides slides. I want to make folders eg 1960,1989,1990 etc in which to store them within F-Spot.
Since these images (presumably) have no .exif files they are not automatically 'pigeon-holed' by F-Spot of course. Is there any way of adding a 'false' date metadata file to a scanned image? Can these images have tags added? If all else fails how can I add them to F-Spot so that they appear in the 'date range' as little blue boxes for their correct (ie originally taken) year?
