Royal Marines Reserve

So my boyfriend is training in the RMR and decided to 'wrap up' i know this is what he wants in life and he's just hit his brick wall, and a big wall it is. He was in the regulars training until his 10th week until a sudden family berevement forced him to leave. He diecided the RMR would be the best idea after two years of growing up and thinking about what he wanted to do in life and I've been with him through all of this and know how bad he wants his Green Beret. I nust don't know how to talk him round and get him to smash this, he has no struggles phys wise, he's just hit this wall and I feel I can't help him in this as I dont know the full score of it all. Someone help!!
