So ,i was turned down by zen mountain monastery because i have an arrest record. also, i am questioning their authenticity ,and wonder ,because they would turn someone away who doesnt have the money to stay there..i feel it may be a bunch of rich dentists.. how does one go about becoming aresident at amonastery of zen with no money, ubut genuine and heartfelt dedication to zen practice?and, what does everyone think about this,that they would turn me away and judge me because of one past mistake??
