I don't really know how Susan feels about David. She might like him, she might not. I know if I was her, the whole experience probably wouldn't have any effect on me. That's just my opinion, though.

I think Susan probably lost her liking for David quite a while ago. We find out at the end of the book that she is actually "in love" with Mark. But after he tries to kill her, and after David loses his grandmother because of Mark she kind of feels sorry for David and goes back to him.
