In Metropolis at night, Chloe is on the street and approaches a coffee kiosk. She buys coffee from the vendor, who wonders what she does every night. Chloe explains that she works for a non-profit organization trying to help people. She then goes to Watchtower and enters the elevators. As she ascends, the security systems verify her identity. When Chloe steps out, she discovers that someone is accessing her Kandorian computer files. She goes for her hidden gun only to discover that Tess has it and is waiting for her. Tess explains that she noticed Oliver's hidden feelings for Chloe. Chloe bluffs and claims the gun is unloaded, distracting Tess long enough to get in close. They struggle for the gun and it goes off, causing a security breach. The windows and doors seal and Tess tells Chloe to get the shutters open. Chloe checks the systems and explains that Watchtower's computer system is in control.

At LuthorCorp, Oliver arrives to find Clark waiting for him. Clark wants him to help find Zod, and doesn't want to put Chloe in danger. He explains that Zod impersonated the Blur to get to Lois, but tells Oliver that he doesn't want him starting a fight, and he needs to confront Zod his way. Oliver agrees and Clark sends him to check for clues at the manor, while he checks another lead. As Clark goes, Oliver tells him that the Kandorians aren't the only family he has.
