I am absolutely staggered by the human cruelty that is being inflicted on this animal,but i was not ready for how cruel these so called human beings were,after watching a program on the BBC channel with Dr Anna Nekaris i was totally ashamed of being human,the people of this Indonesian island of Java should be held down and all their teeth pulled ou with pliers and snapped with clippers,then they are thrown about at a market as if they are not alive,one Loris which Dr Nikaris was given which was being kept as a pet in a cage had already had its teeth removed,so it could not be released back to the wild,but when she and an assistant tried to look at the damage to the lories mouth the poor thing put its hand over its mouth and screamed,they stated that the main destination for these animals as pets are japan and russia,but when i looked up slow loris and there were five ads for sale in the UK,these people should be charged,after all these animals are supposed to be a protected species,WWF,IFAW and others should join to put pressure on Indonesia to put a stop to this and jail the people responsible,like the Dr i was in tears to see this and i am a grown man.I hope somebody reads this and is able to do something to stop this.thank you.
