Sir,one of my friends said that in case u push a cylinder on a rough surface....and its in pure rolling...then u dont have a friction force underneath...i think thats crazy...coz if that is the case,what produces the torque(the balancing act,which makes the lowermost point static)?i've assumed that the force is applied exactly at the centre of mass.
