Should the kids be Charged with Murder? B/c they didn't really kill him, it had to do with his heart condition, of course you could argue that they did'nt give him the pills but if i was mr. griffin i would have told them i needed them or i'd die

I think they should be charged with murder. Or at least manslaughter.

I do think the kids should be charged with murder, or at least the ones that tied him up. The kidnapped him, thats one charge, and they tied him up, that would i'm sure be another charge. They would have to have specific evidence saying the kids did not kill him.

Even if they are their motivation wasn't to kill him and they didn't know they were killing him, I think they should be punished but not for life or death penalty, 20 years tops

Yeah, they should be charged with manslaughter; which is were your intentions weren't to kill someone, but you did.

I agree that it wasn't the kids' fault, but I still think they should be charged with some kind of felony.

Did you know that a life sentence is only 20 years? That is why some criminals are punished with multiple life sentences.

Maybe they didn't want him to die, but they are responsible for his death. If it went to trial, a doctor could say that he wouldn't have died if he had had his pills. He would have had his pills if it hadn't been for the kids. Plus, the actions were premeditated. This makes the punishment much more severe than if it had just been spur of the moment or accidental. I'm thinking manslaughter--at least for Mark. The others should at least get punished for taking part--Susan too, I think.
