The so called Euronews is just a propaganda machine to its stakeholders. If a country is not a stakeholder in the so called Euronews, then very little or no coverage is made.
Much publicity is given to Spanish, Portuguese, French , Russia ( and the east European states) and lately Turkish affairs.
There motto is NOT WHAT HAPPENS, BUT WHERE IT HAPPENS !
Take a look at the current reporting of the Libyan crisis:
Very little is mentioned of the role that Malta, is playing in evacuating foreign nationals. Yes, Malta to them is a very small unimportant country, and for them its WHERE it happens, not WHAT happens.
CNN has given a much extensive coverage of Malta's involvment, despite the fact that Malta is in the EU.
