Sennelier makes an egg tempera medium which is great because I don't have to prepare an actual egg yolk. This Sennelier medium is suppose to be mixed with dry pigment, I have been watering it down a bit and mixing it with my tube watercolors. My question is this ok to do. The color really pops when I use this method and it it cuts down on a lot of layering. I have never read about anyone using this technique. I would love an answer to this question.
