It is a closed loop heat exchanger inside the air compressed. It is an air to water type, the inner tube is compressed air. The tubes at the bottom surface are in white color (I suspect it is scaling) and corrodes at the separating plate. However, only the bottom tube surface have those while the top tubes looks great with no scaling or corrosion. The mostly occurred in the center portion.
