Saw this web page and was wondering if anyone could help with some questions I have on Norinco SKS I inherited. Unable to get two of the same answers, so here goes.
Wondering year of manufacture and what "M" and "D" mean when talking about this weapon.
Serial number starts M2102xx D 709162xx.The last five digits also match the numbers on top of the bolt. I can only make out what looks like a 14 under the rear sight on top of the barrel. The receiver cover has been replaced to accept a scope with no markings. The stock has been replaced with a black plastic rifle stock. Any help you may be would be greatly apprecaited..
