I have a question regarding the essential elements of a nikaa. Is it more important to wait for elder siblings to marry for the sake of culture but in the mean time u are sinning or would it be ideal to
carry out nikaa without knowledge of family in order to stop sinning.
I have thought about this a great deal n would appreciate some direction.

It is more important to wait for elderly siblings/parents because that is how our culture run, and it would be more orderly and plus they would have experience doing/knowing that way.

jazakallah for your fast response. I understand the importance of culture however I am in a position whare I would be waiting approximatly 5-6 years before a nikaa can take place. I am unable to pray without feeling immense guilt and I am saddened to say I now avoid it. I dnt feel I can continue like this for next few years for the sake of culture.
