Hi
I see in Colorado they are trying new technology to detect animals crossing the road to warn drivers. Do you know if any organisation is looking into Sat-Nav technology that could detect Animals on the road in front of cars. I think this would be a better way forward to prevent road kill as soon, every car will have Sat-Nav as standard. If for example Sat-Nav's had the technology for detecting Animals or People on the road ahead it could dramatically reduce Road Kill and pedestrian death. Also if for example you lived in an area of the country where there was a high percentage of car accidents involving animals, you would most likely invest in this type of technology, if you knew it could save your life or the animals life.

Regards

Gerard

Yeah hi

i am just wanna say that that is a good idea, but here in Australia, the laws are diferent, you cant just reduce your speed dramatically down a slow pace, think about the people behind, they are not gonna slow down the exact same time you are, they could be going a little fast and run right in to the ass of your car and someone might get hurt, i love animals but i would never wish death apon amyone not even my worse enemy
