I restored a 1910 Renault Taxi, one of the last survivors of the Battle of the Marne. It took several years to complete, but finished it a few years ago in Gresham, Oregon, USA. This Taxi was brought to the US after WWI and used by the 40/8 society of Veterans for parades, etc.

The taxi is completely operational, restored and in use today.
2009.

I am a volunteer at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in upstate New York and am restoring their 1909 Renault touring car and in the process converting it into a Marne Taxi for the WW1 centennial.
The engine is very worn, everything I can buy or built except for the piston pins. Did you have to replace yours and if so could you let me know where you obtained them ?
Thank you,Kurt Muller
